Gordon Price Presentation, 11/19

On Wednesday 11/19, Gordon Price will give a free presentation on the effective integration of transportation in high-density environments with an emphasis on land use.  If you've seen Price speak before, fear not!  He always has a new presentation and a trick or two up his sleeve...

Price is a former City of Vancouver, B.C. Councilor and current Simon Fraser University and University of British Columbia Professor who teaches, researches, and writes extensively on urban development and planning.

"Pay it Forward" at William Temple House

Been the beneficiary of a kind deed? Consider "paying it forward" by helping a hungry family, a mom struggling with depression or a young father who has been laid off. These people turn to William Temple House for a hand up. William Temple House, in turn, depends on volunteers to help it serve those in need.

Volunteering just a few hours a week is all it takes to pay it forward. We are currently looking for new volunteers for our thrift store located in NW Portland and for pastoral volunteer vistitors and evening volunteer receptionists at our main offices also in NW Portland. Job descriptions are posted below.

Opportunities are available seven days a week.
