BroadArts Theatre is accepting registrations for its summer camp to be held August 2 – 6. Peace Camp offers children aged 8 – 12 the opportunity to explore the concept of peace through the arts: drama, music, and visual arts. During the week, children will work on both individual and group projects leading up to the final theatrical production. Various arts workshops will help children develop artistic skills, as well as creativity techniques. The creative process can foster both self-discovery and the understanding of others.

Scope of Position: The Marketing and Communications Assistant provides project and administrative support to the Development and Communications staff of the Nonprofit Association of Oregon.

Tryon Life Community Farm, a sustainability education and demonstration land project in SW Portland, does a lot of cool stuff. Like, a LOT of cool stuff, like more than you can probably imagine.

At the moment, however, our dedicated fans and admirers, as well as the public in general, are relatively ill-informed as to the awesomeness that is brewing right here in the wide open. And that, my friends, is because we have no body to compile, compose and comport our Monthly Update, an electronic communique telling the whole wide world what's up at TLC Farm.

BroadArts Theatre is seeking awesome, motivated folks who are interested in volunteering their time to help out with one of our many great projects in the upcoming months! We have been around for years, providing Portland with inspiring arts and activist experiences, including multiple original theatrical productions touching on hot-button issues and bringing to light the experiences of some of our world’s most influential women social change makers, accessible summer arts camps for kids, participating in the Vision into Action PDX program, and so much more!
