Gardening for Medicine -with Gradey Proctor Six Saturdays (36 hours), May through October In this series, we’ll spend our days learning in an established herb garden throughout the season. Mornings, we’ll be outdoors, tending the plants and learning when and how to harvest them for medicine. Afternoons will be devoted to in-depth discussion of medicinal uses, tastings of plants, and basic herbal preparations. Students will harvest an abundance of sustainably-grown herbs to take home for personal use, CSA-style. The Gardening for Medicine program is $450, including the herb share and most materials. To interview, email info-at-arctosschool.org.
