| position summary: | Are you interested in spending the summer serving your community and having a positive influence on youth? Oregon Campus Compact is recruiting 25+ AmeriCorps*VISTA Summer Associates to work with rising 9th graders. Summer Associates will be placed in nonprofits and schools in Portland for student recruitment, tutoring, mentoring, volunteer management, and program coordination. Summer Associates will receive a living stipend of $411 every two weeks and have the option of a $1,132 Education Award or a $125/month cash award upon completion of service.
