| position summary: | Non-profit organization seeks part-time drivers to provide safe, reliable and courteous transportation services to older adults and people with disabilities. Positions are available in East Multnomah and rural Western Washington County. We are looking for trustworthy, dependable drivers with a sense of humor and passion for helping people in our community lead more independent lives. | Required Skills and Abilities: | • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Customer service experience • Experience operating a large vehicle • Valid driver’s license with five years driving experience and excellent driving record as recorded by the Department of Motor Vehicles • Ability to pass a ten-year criminal record check • Ability to pass a national criminal record check which includes fingerprint identification. • Must participate in an FTA Drug and Alcohol testing program (rural Western Washington County position only). • Must be proficient in English |
