Love one of Oregon's Waterways? Why not adopt it?

Is there a stretch of one of Oregon's rivers, streams, or lakes that you want to help keep clean? Are you concerned about the amount of littler and trash that you see along the shore of a local waterway? Then adopt a 2 mile stretch of publicly owned waterway through SOLV's Oregon Adopt-A-River program!

Volunteers hold two litter cleanups per year for two years along their two mile stretch of waterway. SOLV provides bags, gloves, and a $100 small grant for other project supplies as well as project planning support. You can do the cleanup by yourself, with a few friends, or a large group of people. For more information contact Quintin Bauer at [email protected] or 503-844-9571 x321 or visit the Oregon Adopt-A-River Webpage. Oregon Adopt-A-River is a partnership between SOLV and the Oregon State Marine Board.
