No Ivy Day at Tryon Creek

Help the Friends of Tryon Creek State Park cut ivy on trees on “No Ivy” Day on May 3rd from 9 to noon.  When ivy climbs trees, it not only flowers and spreads its seeds; the weight of the ivy can knock over those trees, destroying entire tracts of forest.  Come help us stop this invader of the woods!   Please contact Robin Lewis at 503-636-4398 or robin@tryonfriends.org for more information and to sign-up. Groups of 5 or more, please pre-register first. All minors require a parent/guardian-signed insurance form.
