Mission
Progressive Health Worldwide (PHWW) is a Portland-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to have the biggest impact on children’s health per dollar spent.
Description
PHWW started the first mobile pediatric tuberculosis (TB) clinic in rural India. With a local partner hospital and hundreds of community volunteers, this clinic brings food and medicine at a cost of just $1 a day to children suffering from life-threatening TB and malnutrition in areas with little access healthcare. We are also launching a new project to help sustainably revive the local agricultural economy.
