Native Plant Walk - with Missy Rohs - Saturday, December 6th, 10am-11:30am

Join us on a walk through one of Portland’s gems, Tryon Creek State Park. We’ll discuss the medicinal uses of the plants in our ecosystem while touching, smelling, and perhaps even tasting them! Afterwards, check out the gifts at their Forest Market, running 10am-4pm all weekend. All ages and walking speeds welcome.

Location: Tryon Creek State Park. Cost: Free!

Making Herbal Cordials - with Missy Rohs - Sunday, December 7th, 1pm-3:30pm

Looking for a delicious handcrafted gift to give for the holidays? Or an indulgent treat for yourself? Join us as we learn how to make medicinal herbs into yummy concoctions. Cordials are a delightful way to take a digestif, a tonic, or other remedies. We’ll sample various cordials, and make a love potion to take home!

Location: SE Portland. Registration required by Dec. 3rd. Register by emailing info(at)www.arctosschool.org. Cost: $35 (sliding scale available)
