CNRG needs you!
CNRG is the connection point and is the vehicle for sharing information in the Portland metro nonprofit community. CNRG is where it is today thanks to the amazing generosity of the community. All of our resources go directly to programs; we have no paid staff.
CNRG is seeking volunteers to help us with a wide range of needs. Including:
* Coordinating our monthly nonprofit networking event
* Moderating the CNRG daily digest
* Implementing our marketing plan
* Providing technical assistance for our Drupal site
* Writing grants to increase CNRG's programs
* Editing web copy

This bi-weekly forum is a gathering of diverse people to discuss financial pressures in the hopes of raising public awareness, building power and looking at solutions.
Our goals are:
• to share personal stories about economic instability (do you think you are the only one living paycheck to paycheck?)
• to share facts about the way our economy is working to our detriment
• to discuss the myriad solutions to changing financial pressures
• to explore the divine in money and our lives; how is money like energy?
• to look at wealth from a non-capitalist perspective; what is abundance?

Central Portland Plan Community Survey is online until September 30, 2008

Neighborhood House, a leading Portland social service organization, needs your help in our programs committed to helping low-income children, families and seniors build better lives. We have a multitude of positions working with all ages from Head Start preschoolers to seniors, at sites including transitional housing, schools, a senior center and an emergency food box distribution site.
