I have been reading up on open source Content Management Systems (Joomla and Drupal mainly) and I want to “groundtruth” their promises of being easy to use after proper installation. In other words, would anyone out there currently using an open source CMS like to give me a demo if I buy them coffee? :) I really want to see it used on the front-end before I dive in.

Lead Youth Farm Field Trips!
Come share your passion for local sustainable farming and gardening by leading school field trips this spring!
We are looking for volunteers to lead elementary school field trips on Friday mornings from April to June, 9am-noon, out at Luscher Farm.
Luscher Farm is a garden and farm park converted from an old dairy farm out on the Lake Oswego-West Linn border. Home to a ten-acre CSA, 160 plot Community Garden, Educational Garden, Children's Garden and Botanical Garden, Luscher Farm is truly a magical place with bountiful natural beauty!

On Saturday March 7, 2009 PovertyBridge is hosting the first Portland Metro Area Opportunity Conference, part of the "Strengths Perspective" approach based on the work of national poverty expert Dr. Donna Beegle (please see: combarriers.com and povertybridge.org).
We bring the conference experience (rejuvenation, networking, skills-building and eventual leadership opportunities) and the concept of networking to this population.
