Last Call For Shelter Cleaners

It is time to clean, so here is the last call for shelter cleaners. This is a big job and it will take everybody to get it done. Please do not think that we will miss just one person. The children and I are counting on all of us to get the shelter clean, so the kids have a safe and clean place to sleep at night.

To remind folks~ The Spring Cleaning Kick Off is scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 17, 18 and 19! We hope you can join us for one, two or all three of these days, or join us for a few hours on any of the days!

Friday April 17th: 3 pm to 8 pm Saturday April 18th: 10 am to 4 pm Sunday April 19th: 10 am to 4 pm

START AND END TIMES ARE VERY FLEXIBLE! Please come when you can per your availability!

If you’re able, please email us the dates and times you’ll volunteer at SafeHaven. If you cant make it to these dates, please contact us and we will find a time that works for you! Also, we have limited cleaning materials and it would be very helpful if volunteers could bring any cleaning supplies they are able.

If you can, please bring: A Friend!!! Buckets, rags, brooms, dustpans, gloves, close-toed shoes, water and snacks for yourself throughout the day. The shelter is located at 4610 N Maryland Ave. Portland OR 97217, located one block from MAX station. Call me the day of if you need any further directions 503.502.7021.
