Family Support Specialist

Job Title: Family Support Specialist Program: Home-Based Stabilization Services Location: 2316 SE. Willard, Milwaukie, OR 97222

Be a part of an exciting new team in Clackamas County that provides eviction prevention, diversion, and rapid re-housing services to individual and families at risk for or are experiencing homelessness.

Flexible and creative person needed to provide community-based, family centered services for individuals and families to achieve stabilization within the community. This will include case management and skills training for any program participants to stabilize housing within the community. 2 full-time positions available. Bilingual/bicultural individuals are strongly encouraged to apply.

Salary Level: $13-$15 per hour and benefits dependent upon relevant experience

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a social services related field. General knowledge of community resources, benefit entitlements, mental illness, poverty, and homelessness needed. Knowledge of child development, family support model, and systems theory would be helpful.
