Hands-On Camping Trip: The Wild, Wild East! with Missy Rohs & Candace Larson Friday, August 28th-Sunday, August 30th

Come explore the amazing medicinal plants and feathered friends of the east side of the Cascades. We’ll be car camping together in a rustic site, surrounded by stunning lakes and plentiful plants. Herbalist Missy Rohs will discuss the native medicines and flowering plants of the area; Naturalist Candace Larson will join us to teach about birds, mammals, mushrooms, and more. With luck, we’ll arrive at the height of huckleberry season! Together, we’ll make medicine, go on guided hikes, and get to know an oft-overlooked ecosystem just a couple hours from Portland.
