Salvation Army/West Women’s and Children’s Shelter Seeks Case Manager’s Assistant

Provide support services to women and children in crisis in our domestic violence shelter, The Salvation Army/West Women’s and Children’s Shelter as a Case Manager’s Assistant/CMA. We are currently seeking additional on-call CMA staff to work directly with the women and/or children we serve.

Requirements of the position include but are not limited to; communicating with women from various backgrounds and cultures, assisting Case Managers in their work to support participants, ensuring the safety of the facility, responding appropriately to women in crisis and experiencing trauma, answering 24/7 crisis line, upholding the guidelines of the program, and cleaning and cooking as required by the facility.

Training and experience in domestic violence, crisis counseling, chemical dependency, and cultural competency are required. Bi-lingual and/or bi-cultural applicants are encouraged to apply.
