Job Description
Pacific Northwest College of Art seeks an experienced development professional with broad experience in the areas of annual fundraising as well as foundation relations.
Reporting to the Vice President for Advancement, the Director of Grants and Annual Fund will head the annual fundraising efforts of PNCA, as well as its partner, the Museum of Contemporary Craft. These include annual appeals, museum membership drives, and parents and alumni annual fundraising, as well as scholarship fundraising. The director will plan and organize annual campaign materials and data as well as giving society and special events. In the arena of grants, the director will work to implement a foundation relations program designed to secure major gifts and grants from private and public sources.
Requirements:
A qualified candidate must have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in development, preferably in higher education or the arts. Candidates should be experienced, efficient writers with proven success with grants six figures and above. Candidates should also have a successful track record in organizing and implementing annual appeals and giving societies. Excellent written, data, and oral communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the flexibility to work in a small, fast-paced office are essential. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Raisers Edge or other fundraising software preferred.
