Natural Area Planting

Leverich Park Planting 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2009

Building on the ongoing habitat restoration work at this park that surrounds Burnt Bridge Creek, we will be planting over four hundred native trees and shrubs. No experience required. All tools and materials will be provided, but come prepared for all weather conditions.

Join Vancouver Urban Forestry for the final planting of the year! Throughout 2009 we have planted over 800 trees and over 700 seedlings and shrubs throughout Vancouver making our city safer, healthier, and a more pleasant place to live and play. Help us celebrate a successful year by planting over 400 shrubs and willow stakes at Leverich Park next Tuesday morning.
