New Year's 12 Hour Interfaith Chant for Peace

All voices and people welcome! Join the Zen Community of Oregon at St. David's (2800 SE Harrison, Portland) for the first New Year's 12 Hour Interfaith Chant for Peace, Saturday, January 9 from 8 am to 8 pm. Chants will be led in one hour intervals by members of many different faith traditions, including Buddhist and the host church's Episcopal tradition of chant. The intention of the coming together is to appreciate common aspirations rather than to focus on differences in theological teachings. Vegetarian buffet table available. Donations accepted.
