Request for SVPP Capacity Building Investment Proposals
Portland's Social Venture Partners seeks investment proposals from nonprofit organizations and schools in the four-country region* around Portland, Oregon, and Vancouver, Washington, that have effective programs and strong leadership, but face an opportunity to advance to a higher level of impact and effectiveness by strengthening their underlying infrastructure. SVPP is currently invested in five organizations through this fund (see Current Investments) and CASH Oregon in our Social Venture Fund.

Deadline. Proposals of five pages maximum (and more concise ones appreciated!) must be submitted by close of business February 12, 2010. A proposal narrative and completed cover sheet should be sent together to [email protected]
Information Session. SVPP strongly encourages any organization or grant preparer who did not attend an SVPP investment information session in 2009 to attend the one on January 20, 2010, 8:30-9:30am at the NW Center for Philanthropy, 221 NW Second Avenue, Third Floor.
