Winter Fruit Tree Pruning workshops! Presented by Portland Fruit Tree Project
Portland Fruit Tree Project offers Winter Pruning workshops on 3 separate dates:
Saturday, January 30th, 10am-1pm
Monday, February 15th 10am-1pm
Saturday, February 27th, 1pm-4pm

Winter Pruning! (hands-on workshop)Saturday January 30th, 10am-1pm In this hands-on workshop you will learn the basics of winter pruning in order to increase the health and abundance of local fruit trees! This fun workshop will be an opportunity to gain a basic understanding of the different types of pruning cuts and when these cuts should be used.
Pre-registration is required. This workshop is free of charge for tree owners who have registered fruit trees with us. Otherwise, the class fee is a sliding scale from $8-20. In addition, a limited amount of scholarships are available.
This workshop will be hosted by one of our registered tree owners in North or Northeast Portland. Exact location details will be provided after you sign up.

In this hands-on workshop (the President's Day Pruning Party!) you will learn the basics of winter pruning in order to increase the health and abundance of local fruit trees! This fun workshop will be an opportunity to gain a basic understanding of the different types of pruning cuts and when these cuts should be used.
