Be part of our 13th Annual Banquet!

Volunteer at our Annual Community Unity Banquet: February 17th, 2010

This year's banquet, themed "Black United Fund Grantees Have Talent", will play a vital role in sharing our mission, raising much needed funds, showcasing our scholarship recipients and stories of changed lives. It will take place at the Governor Hotel (Heritage Ballroom): 614 SW 11th & Alder, Portland, OR 97205. The success of our banquet cannot be accomplished without individuals like yourself who lend their time and talents as a volunteer for this special evening. Volunteering for this event will consist of a one-hour training session prior to the event and serving no more than 3 hours at the event. There are a number of areas for which we are seeking volunteers:

•Registration: 6 volunteers needed for 5:45pm-7:15pm (Total 1.5 hours) •Cashiers: 4 volunteers needed for 5:45pm-7:15pm and 8:30pm-9:30pm (Total 2.5 hours) •Floor Directors: 7 volunteer needed for 5:45pm-7:15pm, 7:50pm-8:10pm, & 8:30pm-8:50pm (Total ~ 2.5 hours) •Silent Auction Attendees: 4 volunteers needed for 5:45pm-8:45pm (Total 3 hours)
