Fun-A-Day Art Show Feb 13

Are you having fun every day? Portland artists are.

Saint David of Wales Episcopal Church is proud to sponsor a cooperative art-show featuring work from Portland’s first annual Fun-A-Day Project on February 13, from 7-9 p.m. This free event will showcase a variety of art projects, each consisting of 31 pieces created by Portland artists during the month of January. Participating artists are hard at work this month in Portland and across the country, creating one original piece a day in their chosen medium.

Created in 2004 by Philadelphia’s Art Clash Collective, the Fun-A-Day Project aims to provide a forum for free art shows and projects, as well as foster community among artists. 2010 Fun-A-Day projects are underway in Philadelphia, Boston, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, and Portland.
