Renovation, Repair, Painting Certification
Community Energy Project is now an EPA certified Accredited Training Provider for the new Renovation, Repair and Painting requirements for contractors and others who disturb lead-based paint in targeted housing. Proceeds from the training fees fund CEP programs, including lead poisoning prevention, weatherization workshops, and services for seniors and people with disabilities.
This 8-hour training will cover topics including:
Why lead paint should be a concern
Current regulations
Preparation of worksite
Containing dust during work
Cleaning activities and checking work
Recordkeeping
Training non-certified renovation workers
Hands-on activities
Review and test
