Historian/Researcher Paid Internship

Hellenic-American Cultural Center & Museum seeks a part-time historian/researcher for a project designed to expand awareness of the Greek community in Portland & SW Washington.

The project is to explore different (professional) groups in the Greek community through use of oral history tapes, printed materials, on-site interviews.

The position covers a total of 200 hours over a 10-month period; hours are flexible but work time is during normal business hours. Salary is $25/hour.

Applicant should be either enrolled in a college-level history program or have related experience in the field of library work, archives or genealogy. Work experience may substitute for academic enrollment.
