| position summary: | The Data Collector helps collect and manage data for evaluation and visitor studies activities. |
| Salary / Pay Rate: | $10.47 to $12.55 an hour |
| Required Skills and Abilities: | Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to interface well with fellow paid and unpaid staff, audiences and partners in professional, educational and evaluation settings. Include organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skill as appropriate to the position. Have the ability to effectively work independently and with teams on multiple and simultaneous, diverse tasks with a concern for accuracy and presentation. Includes ability to learn quickly and meet deadlines. Have basic knowledge of data collection methods. Flexibility to modify work schedule such as work extended hours as needed. |
| Qualifications: | Have previous experience in museum evaluation. Bilingual preferred – English and Spanish. Basic understanding of audience research, cultural accessibility, physical accessibility and safety. |
