The City Club New Leaders Council invites you to an evening of local food and music. Local band Sleepy Bell will usher in the Salon with a live musical performance. Their intimate, acoustic sound will set the stage for a delicious dinner that will include seasonal items from local farmers markets. Nathaniel Talbot, vocalist and guitarist for Sleepy Bell, will act as provocateur, and will lead a discussion that may include topics such as what it is like to be a young musician in Portland, what some of the challenges and joys are, what the future of music in Portland might look like.
