position summary: | Lost Valley Center, Inc., an education institution located in Dexter, Oregon, is seeking an extraordinary person to join its staff and to manage its student recruitment department. This position requires a self motivated individual interested in developing and implementing a student recruitment strategy within a nonprofit educational organization. In addition s/he will be expected to support ongoing brand development and to participate in organization management team activities. |
Salary / Pay Rate: | 1,100/month with bonuses available |
Required Skills and Abilities: | *Demonstrated success in building and implementing strategic recruitment activities and/or sales *Comprehensive ability to interpret and explain recruitment and/or sales data *Strong experience in computer skills, communication skills, and creative, innovative problem solving skills *Experience in designing, organizing, and writing reports and presentations *Proven track record of handling and organizing multiple items with timely completions *Ability to work independently and as part of a management team *Good people skills |
Qualifications: | Specific Description of Duties and Responsibilities: *Accountable for meeting recruitment goals *Work collaboratively with LVEC Dean and Camassia Director to develop the recruitment plan and budget *Manage a pipeline of qualified students and establish relationships with various schools, community organizations, and other outside contacts *Works with the marketing department to brand the LVEC image *Manage implementation of recruitment plan including: *research, design, creation, and circulation of recruitment materials *research into implementing work study and financial aid opportunities *tabling at events *Analyze recruitment data to determine effectiveness of plans *Monitor and communicate the status of recruitment plan *Frequent travel throughout the West Coast and other locations as opportunities develop *Organize and implement student orientation activities *Participate as a member of organization management team *Other duties as may be assigned |
