Voter registration with the DPO

This November, voters will decide the future of the state by electing a governor of Oregon, a US Senator, and state and local elected officials. In order to elect people that will stand up for the middle class it is important to register people to vote.

The Democratic Party of Oregon is hiring canvassers to register people to vote. Since the last election, many people have moved or turned 18 and to make sure they can vote this November, we need to re-register them.

Canvassers will be out in the community, on the streets, and at events registering people to vote. The job will last approximately two months - paid hourly, a fun team environment, 30-40 hours a week.

Skills needed: personable, enthusiastic, flexible schedule, willing to talk and approach people, can be on your feet for the entire day, care about the future of our state, available days and evenings. Experience canvassing a plus.
