FAMILY SERVICE-LEARNING PROJECTS

RFH Roots & Shoots welcomes families with children of all ages for family friendly service-learning projects in the Hillsboro/Beaverton/Aloha area.

UPCOMING: Please join us to launch our Rock Creek Trail waterway adoption in cooperation with SOLV’s Oregon Adopt-A-River program. We’ll start at Orchard Park in Hillsboro and work our way north to determine which section(s) of the trail we want to commit to. Gloves, bags, grabbing tools, and snacks provided.

This project is about more than trash cleanup: it’s is part of a series of future RFH R&S projects and field trips to learn about and care for watershed health, including participation in World Water Monitoring Day.
