De Paul Treatment Centers - Adolescent Primary Counselor

De Paul Treatment Centers serves the greater Portland community by providing drug and alcohol addiction treatment services. We currently have an excellent opportunity for one full-time Primary Counselor in our boys’ program and one full-time Primary Counselor in our girls' program at our Youth Residential Facility in NE Portland. Counselor position provides professional treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders in a supportive team oriented clinical environment. Responsibilities include group facilitation and individual therapy with reasonable caseload and case management support. Outstanding opportunity for applicant seeking licensure; exceptional supervision and significant direct client contact hours provided. Candidates must be familiar with strength based counseling and have knowledge of dual diagnosis, SOC and MI. MA required. CADC I preferred. Evening and weekend availability preferred. Bilingual and bicultural applicants are encouraged to apply. All positions at De Paul require 2+ years’ continuous sobriety, if recovering.
