| position summary: | Fir Ridge Campus on SE 112th and Market St is looking for a dynamic teacher to lead an after school garden and cooking class for 5-10 high school students. Class will be offered twice a week (M-TH) from 2:55-4:25 PM starting the week of September 27th and ending the week of November 15th with the right person continuing throughout the year and into the summer. The ideal candidate would be a strong presence in the after school program, tutoring twice a week and helping out in other areas, for a total of 12-15 hours per week. Pay is dependent on experience. The garden program here is popular and well-equipped. This is a great opportunity to work with a nice group of kids, outdoors, in a supportive setting!
