| position summary: | The driver is the heart and soul of the transportation program. The service provided by the driver helps elders and people with disabilities live independent, quality lives by providing them access to necessary community services. The driver provides transportation services using agency-owned vehicles. The driver reports to, assists and works cooperatively with the Transportation Coordinator in providing safe and efficient transportation to customers without other alternatives. | Salary / Pay Rate: | $11.50 Hourly Non-Exempt |
| Qualifications: | To qualify, you must posses: 1. Experience operating a large vehicle 2. Valid driver’s license with five to seven years driving experience and excellent driving record 3. Ability to pass a ten-year criminal record check 4. Ability to pass a national criminal record check which includes fingerprint identification. |
