OMSI Planetarium Volunteers!

Have you always wanted to help out in OMSI's Planetarium? Well now is your chance! We have a brand new volunteer position and we are looking for volunteers who can commit to helping out in the Planetarium at least once a week. If you are interested please e-mail [email protected]

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ticket taking and line management • Safety and informational announcements • Guest assistance in emergency situations • In-theater ushering duties, including assisting visitors to leave shows early in a dark environment, and enforcing rules (no cell phones or cameras, removing crying children etc.) • Use of a radio to communicate with the front desk, presenters, projectionists and ushers
