Salary / Pay Rate:$65,000-$100,000 depending on experience.
Required Skills and Abilities:Successful candidates will possess: • A passion for Alaska and its conservation. • Extensive experience cultivating and soliciting philanthropic gifts from individual donors. • Experience working in a multifaceted development environment involving a variety of fund sources and communications approaches. • Proven ability to create and foster a team environment where members are valued and empowered in their commitment to a common goal.
Qualifications:Preferred qualifications: • A track record of raising gifts in excess of $500,000 dollars annually. • Knowledge of planned giving and methods for its promotion. • Communications and publications experience. • The self-confidence to work with high-achieving and high-net-worth individuals. • Five years of development experience, including at a senior level. • Three years experience in a supervisory or management role. • Experience working on capital campaigns.
