Shelter Coordinator position available with Janus Youth Programs

Shelter Coordinator needed to oversee daily aspects of overnight shelter serving street-dependent youth in downtown Portland. Position is responsible for maintaining day-to-day readiness of shelter and for managing supplies and donations, overseeing maintenance, and coordinating safety program. Requires 2 years experience working with at-risk youth and/or experience with facility maintenance/food prep and handling/completing administrative or organizational functions and experience demonstrating knowledge of working with homeless/street-dependent youth. Demonstrated experience with facility maintenance, meal preparation, and general administrative duties is also required. Position does involve driving a personal vehicle and also requires ability to lift up to 20# on a frequent basis and go up and down stairs frequently throughout the day.
