The Hood River Watershed Project Assistant will assist the Watershed Coordinator and partners working under the umbrella of the Hood River Watershed Group to perform actions that will benefit water quality, fish, wildlife and the basin's human economy. Major goals will include: helping to coordinate with Hood River Watershed Group (HRWG) (20%); performing on-ground watershed restoration actions with partners (20%); providing technical assistance to landowners and others (20%); promoting environmental education and outreach (20%) and monitoring of environmental results of the group's work (20%).
