Position Available on Newspace Board

The Newspace Board of Directors is currently seeking a new member.

The prospective board member should have non-profit experience, enthusiasm for the arts, and a desire to contribute to the strength of the organization.

Board positions require a commitment of one to two years of service. Members are required to attend and participate actively in monthly board meetings which are typically held on third Thursdays from 7-9 pm at the Center.

Each member is expected to work between board meetings on activities related to Newspace's mission. What a board member does in this area is largely self-determined, based on individual skill sets and interests.  S/he should also be able and willing to work collaboratively and have time to prioritize Newspace activities as we do have a "working board".

Board members are also asked to maintain an annual membership with the Center at a personally meaningful level.
