Demystifying Evaluations November 13, 2008 8:30 am - Noon Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory 101 SW Main Street, Suite 500, Portland, OR $35 for Chapter members; $50 for others (prices increase after November 5)
Intended Audience
Learning professionals, typically with 3-5 years of experience, who want to take their evaluation efforts beyond "smile sheets" and post-tests. Also for those with more experience who want to refresh and update their knowledge.
Note: Those who register will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire in advance of the session.
This session focuses on Kirkpatrick's Four Levels of Evaluation and moving training evaluation beyond level one and level two evaluations. Local seasoned ASTD members Larry Ferguson, Susan Zabriskie and Rob Dodson will serve as the panelist for this interactive presentation.
This session looks at traditional and contemporary models of evaluation and equips participants with a roadmap for conducting higher level evaluations. Participants will have an opportunity to share obstacles they may have encountered and gain insights into how these can be overcome. Local seasoned ASTD members Larry Ferguson, Susan Zabriskie and Rob Dodson will serve as panelists for this interactive presentation.
