Book Inventory Volunteer

SMART (Start Making A Reader Today) is looking for several volunteers to help with organizing children’s books! We have many boxes of donated books that need to be organized and inventoried, then packed & shipped to the SMART programs in schools around the state. We would appreciate your help in our State office in downtown Portland for whatever number of hours your schedule will allow M-F from 8:30AM – 5PM. This project is ongoing and we would love to have volunteers that would stay with us for several months if possible.

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Intermediate Excel skills Ability to work independently and with a team Able to lift 25 lbs
