Volunteer for New Avenues for Youth at Classic Wines Auction

This is a fun way to help out the homeless & at-risk  youth at New Avenues by volunteering at a fun event!

We invite you join us for the 25th Anniversary 2009 Classic Wines Auction on Saturday, March 7th (with additional volunteer opportunities available on March 6 and March 8). One of the largest charity wine auctions in the United States, the auction has raised more than $19.4 million, since its inception, for local organizations.

This year, the auction will benefit New Avenues for Youth, Metropolitan Family Service, Friends of the Children-Portland, Trillium Family Services, and YWCA Clark County. All of these charities do exceptional work that benefits children and families in our community.

Approximately 250 volunteers are needed to provide our guests with an extraordinary experience.  We hope that you will choose to volunteer! Brief volunteer job descriptions are enclosed.  All volunteers receive a complimentary meal, refreshments and parking.

Please sign-up as soon as possible.  Volunteer assignments are made on a first-come, first-serve basis. You will receive a confirmation letter and further details related to your volunteer job assignment the second week of February.
