The January 15 movie this month will be "Doubt" starring Philip Seymour Hoffman and Meryl Streep. It takes place during the period of Vatican II as the Catholic Church was experiencing various reforms. The film obviously addresses the issue of the place for doubt and certainty in our faith and spiritual growth. It's getting good reviews. Should be fun to discuss and explore afterwards.
