Oregon Food seeks volunteers to lead gardening workshops!

Do you love vegetable gardening? Want to help others learn about growing their own food? Oregon Food Bank is looking for volunteers to teach beginning gardening workshops through the Seed to Supper program.

Seed to Supper offers free gardening workshops to individuals and low-income groups. Volunteers are needed to teach a 5 week beginning gardening series in the fall and spring. We’ll provide a thorough training and slides, outlines and handouts for each topic. Volunteers who are interested in getting involved with this program or finding out more about it should plan to attend an information session at OFB on Monday, January 26th (NE Portland location) or Tuesday, January 27th (Hillsboro location) from 6 – 7 pm.
