Career Development Instructor position at Portland YouthBuilders

 PYB is recruiting for a Career Development Instructor who has experience working with and teaching a diverse clientele in the area of career development. This is an opportunity for a creative career development professional who wants to be a part of a community of learners and educators, to develop engaging curriculum that challenges and guides students to discover and plan for their future careers. At PYB, staff and students are committed to preparing ALL students to be successful in college, post-secondary training, and the work place.As a member of the Instructors’ Team, the career development instructor assesses students, develops curriculum collaboratively and individually, and provides whole class, small group, and personalized instruction to support all students in reaching their academic and career goals. PYB typically serves 60 students in the program at a time which results in class sizes of 7-20 students. Women and people of color are encouraged to apply.
