The CEO is responsible for implementing the mission and strategic vision of the organization through fundraising efforts, staff, volunteer and donor recruitment and program development. The CEO works closely with the Board of Directors, major donors and strategic partners. The CEO must be willing to travel to Tanzania at least annually, travel by bus and be able to work effectively with Tanzanian staff, government officials and villagers. The ideal candidate is someone who has traveled to Africa and has an appreciation for the plight of Africa’s most vulnerable children.
